Crocked Rangers Defender Joins Steaua Bucharest On Long-Term Loan Deal
JINXED Rangers defender Daniel Prodan is returning to Romania in a loan deal with Steaua Bucharest, the club’s president Viorel Paunescu said on Thursday. The 29-year-old, who joined the Glasgow giants from Spain’s Atletico Madrid in 1998, has barely played for them because of a serious knee injury. He will be with Steaua until the start of the 2001-2002 season, Paunescu told a Romanian TV station.
