Anderlecht's Scifo Hoping To Buy Into Charleroi
BELGIAN football legend Enzo Scifo, currently still on the books of Anderlecht, is part of a group set to buy a controlling share in fellow first division side Charleroi.
Charleroi, who will host the England-Germany match at Euro 2000 this summer, have reported debts of around 60 million francs (£1m) and the so-called 'Scifo Group' want to buy a 51% share of club for around £150,000.
It is unclear whether the 33-year-old would continue playing if the proposed buy-out goes through.
