DEL BOSQUE IS REAL GOOD
Madrid Giants Hint They Could Make Caretaker Boss Their Full-Time Coach
SPANISH giants Real Madrid could be ready to scrap plans to headhunt one of the world's big name managers and stick with caretaker boss Vicente del Bosque for next season.
Del Bosque, who used to play for the Bernabeu outfit, has steered them from 17th to third in the Primera Liga since taking over from Welshman John Toshack in November and delivered a crushing 3-0 win over arch rivals Barcelona at the weekend.
"Vicente has every chance of continuing next season," said general manager Jose Martinez Pirri. "There's no need for us to go mad searching for something that we already have here at the club. He's a Real Madrid man and I have every confidence in him."
